We support our clients to access public funding. We do this by providing information, advice, guidance and practical support to complete and submit applications and tenders.
Since launching, we estimate that we have assisted clients to secure more than £88,500,000 for a range of capital and revenue projects. This includes small grants of up to £10,000 to major revenue and capital investments of up to £5,000,000. Our approach:

We believe that we are at our best when we are on our feet, facilitating and planning with clients. We provide strategic planning services that help you to develop short, medium and long term objectives as well as implementation plans.
We work with you to develop technical documentation including business plans, economic appraisals and feasibility studies that help leverage investment for capital and revenue projects. Our team are vastly experienced in financial appraisal and we take pride in evidencing the need for a project, usually through extensive consultation, research, site visits, photographs, facility and service reviews as well as aligning projects to local, regional and national strategy and policy.
We offer a bespoke project management service which involves collaborating with you to coordinate all administrative and management functions associated with your organisation or service, allowing you to focus on your strength – delivery.

core retained service
Our retained service is simple; it is based on an ongoing sustained relationship. We work with you to identify and establish priorities and needs, and then we implement an agreed action plan to find solutions. Here’s how it works:
You contact S3 Solutions and we visit you for initial chat about the service
Your committee/board agree to join S3 Solutions and set up a standing order payment
You are assigned a specialist client advisor who is dedicated to your organisation
We identify short, medium and long term needs and priorities
Your Client advisor works proactively to support your organisation and reports back regularly
The monthly support may include developing and submitting funding applications & tenders, mentoring and advice, training, action planning, fundraising and gift aid advice.
For clients with capital ambitions, the monthly support can be aligned to our bespoke facility development model. It provides a guide and reference point for 3rd sector organisations inception through to completion (which can often take up to 3-5 years). We support clients to develop, plan and realise capital projects. This includes attending meetings on your behalf, liaising with architects, technical teams, local authorities and funders as well as producing appropriate documentation and funding applications.
