Who we are
Established in 2013, S3 Solutions is an independent consultancy company. We focus our work specifically on the community & voluntary and public sectors. Our interest and passion for the sector originated from our past experience of both working and volunteering there, primarily in sport and community development.
Much of our work involved applying for funding and supporting organisations to access funding. This evolved into two distinct but connected services: Consulting and FundReady, two services dedicated to supporting organisations on their mission to deliver positive social change.
We have an exceptional team of people who have the right experience and talent, but above all, share our passion for the sector and the belief that our work has a purpose and can make an impact.
We work across the UK and Ireland and are proud to have our roots in Belfast with regional offices in Derry and Dublin.

Powered by S3 Solutions, FundReady is a subscription-based service with support packages available to meet the needs of organisations of all sizes and types in the Third / not for profit sector.
Through our specialist team of Client Advisors and our leading funding support platform, we provide you with access to the latest funding opportunities, advice and guidance and practical support to write and submit funding applications.
We work with grass roots sports clubs to large regional and national charities. Through our specialist funding support packages, we have supported clients across Ireland to secure over £120 million of funding for new capital projects, services, equipment and organisational developments.

We provide quality, independent consulting services to public and not for profit sectors.
We are a professional team of experienced researchers, social impact analysts, business, and economic consultants. Our staff team includes individuals with legal, business, research, economic and community development qualifications as well as backgrounds in local authorities, community development, peace building, sport, health & wellbeing and youth & women’s sector.
Our background as community development practitioners and volunteers is what fuels and drives our approach. Across all of our projects, we seek purpose in our work and we want to make a difference, we are not interested in reports that have no impact.
We focus on providing applied social research methods and are known for our highly engaging and accessible consulting services, embedding principles of co-design and consultation to produce actionable insights and innovative solutions.

Strategic Plan
We provide bespoke workshops and consultation approaches to help clients reflect on their core purpose and develop focused short, medium, and long term plans
Our approach is always highly consultative and engaging, reflecting the views of all stakeholders and our final documents are succinct, highly visual and easy to follow.
Feasibility study, business case, appraisal
We have developed a multi-disciplinary network of professionals to support our approach to testing project ideas and identifying preferred development options.
We are qualified business case practitioners and prepare detailed appraisal and business plan documents to support project development and funding proposals
Evaluation and social return on investment
Our team are specialist evaluation and impact measurement consultants. We use a range of economic and financial valuation tools including: Outcomes Based Accountability, Logic Model, and others to evaluate projects.
We also support clients to measure their impact and report their value in financial terms using the Social Return on Investment Methodology.
Research
Across all of our projects we focus on providing a highly engaging service, embedding principles of co-production and ensuring high levels of consultation, culminating in highly visual and easy to understand reports.
Using an action research approach, we are focused on the development of actionable insights and practical recommendations.
